Community Involvement
MoneyWorld believes in empowering the less fortunate. We regularly participate in fund raising events, and it is our long-standing policy to contribute part of our net profits to worthy charitable events.
The Community Chest of Hong Kong has conferred MoneyWorld Asia with the President's Award for excellence, having raised HK$1 million. We are also one of the 40 distinguished Hong Kong establishments to receive the award from Mrs Lavender Patten, President Community Chest in 1996.
In Singapore, MoneyWorld Asia was given a gold award by the Dover Park Hospice for organizing a charity draw in December 1998. The draw raised more than $800,000 for the Hospice. MoneyWorld Asia also organized a second charity draw in aid of the Red Cross that raised more than $400,000 in September 1999.
MoneyWorld Asia also participated in the fund raising event organized in aid of the Serangoon Gardens Community Club building fund, raising more than $350,000. |
