In community service, MoneyWorld has been actively supporting charitable organisations like the Community Chest in Hong Kong. In 1996, MoneyWorld Asia was conferred the President's Award for excellence from Mrs Lavender Patten, President Community Chest for a contribution exceeding HK$1 million alongside with 40 distinguished Hong Kong establishments. MoneyWorld Asia was given a gold award by the Dover Park Hospice for organizing a charity draw in December 1998 using a reproduction of a $10,000 Orchid banknote. The draw raised more than $800,000 for the Hospice. MoneyWorld Asia a also organized a second charity draw in aid of the Red Cross that raised more than $400,000 in September 1999. This year, MoneyWorld Asia also participated in another funds raising event, the Serangoon Gardens Community Club building funds which raised more than $350,000.
